Hi guys,

Pardon my improper grammar, but, “shame is catching me”. I know I’ve been a bad boy for not checking in, and keeping up with you guys. I can explain. A lot has been going on, I’ve been writing scripts, directing videos, and just getting better at being a filmmaker and I can’t wait for you all to see them. I will tell you all about it in subsequent emails, but for now, let’s talk about the book. 

Ladies & Gentlemen, I’m thrilled to officially announce that #ThisIsNotAnExcuse is launching this July, yes it’s still happening and I hope you’re as excited as I am because, well - IT’S FINALLY HERE! So you get a copy, she gets a copy, he gets a copy, everyone gets a copy!!!

What you need to know about the book:

• It’s a collection of relatable short poetry

• I started writing the book in 2020.

• I was inspired by the experiences of others and observing events and actions around me.

• I probably revised the book more times than I can remember because I just kept getting inspired.

• Yes, I took out a lot of personal things because I don’t want wahala (poems being misinterpreted).

• I AM NOT SUBBING ANYONE WITH/THROUGH MY BOOK. edakun!

• It’s going to be an ebook; this means it’ll be available to everyone everywhere, regardless of the part of the world you’re in. Islanders are worldwide (God I’m blessed).

• In the coming days after the launch, more variations of #ThisIsNotAnExcuse will be made available. Such as a physical copy, an audiobook, novelties and souvenirs, and much more. So, stay tuned. 

A bit of Nostalgia:
